Following from October’s fascinating and thought-provoking session on story-telling, we would like to invite you to November’s 6heads noodle session.
This time we will be piggy-backing a very fabulous sounding Science Museum event, ‘Best Festival Ever!: How to manage a disaster’.
The event:
In this interactive session, you and your fellow participants will experience the challenges and discover the science of complex systems, while collaborating in small teams to create a unique festival.
The event itself is run by Boho interactive – an Australian Theatre Company – and sounds like our kind of night – described as ‘part theatre, part performance lecture and part massive board game’. The session will also feature a Climate Scientist who will share his insights on complex phenomena and discuss ‘how we grapple with complex systems in science’.
Date: Wednesday November 19th
Cost: The session is £5 (and includes a glass of wine, a beer or a soft drink)
Logistics: To book your place please email hannah.griffiths@6-heads.com
Agenda:
18.30: The 6heads will be in the Zetland Arms (2 Bute Street, South Kensington, SW7 3EX) from 18.30 to talk complex systems and there again afterwards to share our experiences from the session and mingle.
19.00: The official event starts at 19.00 at the Dana Centre (165 Queen’s Gate, South Kensington, London, SW7 5HD) and finishes at 20.30.
