@6-heads Spring offerings – #RegenerativeRamble, #EarthHour and virtual #ExperientialLearning

As the snow is melting and signs of spring are emerging all around us, 6heads is also coming out of it’s Winter hibernation mode. We know we have been a little quiet of late and taking some much needed reflection and pause time. We would love to reconnect with you all and have been busy thinking about how we can capture the essence of some of our favourite events and bring them to life and our community together in a virtual context.

Here are three invitations (Starting this Sunday 21 Feb) based on our time-honoured traditions that we are really excited about as well as the return of monthly community meet ups. Everyone welcome, we would love to see you there.

We are always on the look out for content that is shaped by our community of curious and committed change-makers. If you have a blog you want to share, idea to collaborate on or would like to run an event with us then we would love to hear from you! Please get in touch by email.

Regenerative Ramble – THIS SUNDAY 21 FEBRUARY – virtual coffee, solo nature missions & fireside chat

In socially distant times we may not be able to host our steps to sustainability walks as we usually do, but 6heads have never been big followers of the usual. We have been exploring all of the things that have brought our walks to adventurous life: Time in nature, connecting with new and like minded people, some thought-provoking stimulus to fuel our inspiration & spark our creativity to tackle the challenges of our times and regenerate ourselves, our communities and our world.

10.00 – 11.00 am: Virtual cuppa to connect with fellow walkers

When you like: Find a nature spot and walk at your own pace with an invitation to a shared creative mission and reflective practice

5.00 – 6.00 pm Fireside chat and sharing at dusk

To be part of this collective adventure all you need to do is sign up here to taking a walk in nature: there is an invitation to engage more deeply, connect with fellow ramblers virtually, play with creative missions and share what you have experienced with a closing circle

You can find out more about our first #RegenerativeRamble in lockdown last Spring here.

EARTH HOUR & Candlelit storytelling with The Shadow Travellers: SATURDAY 27 MARCH 7.30 – 9.30 pm

Join us for our 7th Earth Hour celebration. Once more we will join WWF’s global movement where for one hour we turn the lights off to shine the light on environmental issues and celebrate our beautiful planet.

We will gather together for some fire-side connection as we collectively make a promise to our brilliant planet before lighting our candles and turning off the lights as the Shadow Travellers once more weave magic with improvised stories told just for us and never to be told again.

Tickets are limited and essential, families and friends very welcome – please sign up here *

*please note tickets cost from £2 donation – £10 whole house admission, and go directly to our storytellers.

EXPLORING VIRTUAL CREATIVE FACILITATION & EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING: THURSDAY APRIL 22 – 6.00 -8.00p.m

6heads is all dedicated to finding innovative ways to bring sustainability to life. We know to create change we need to challenge mindsets and co-create which means atmosphere, fun and a strong sense of community. Over the years our events have seen a fabulous array of ice-breakers and team building exercises where the experiential elements of learning have set us up for creative thinking, collaboration and solution finding. Our catalytic facilitators have got us to create music, throw invisible objects, embrace pronoia, share our laughter, build ducks from Lego, form human knots and leap of flying trapezes.

The invitation is to join us to share your favourite activity with other curious changemakers and facilitators, or join in as a pilot participant , not to mention have a lot of fun on the way.

Places both to run an activity or to simply participate in the fun. Registration essential, especially if you want to share an activity.

See you there!
