The EARTHtalks are an information and networking initiative born out of civil society. The event brings together NGOs, social entrepreneurs, public institutions and interested members of the public and engages them in dialogue with national and international guest-speakers from the scientific community, environmental NGOs, politicians and civil society. The EARTHtalks aim not only at informing the public, but also at raising awareness and providing the motivation to act.
In 2015 the EARTHtalks will be held for the 8th time in Vienna. Akasha Innovation and Impact Hub Westminster have partnered with NEONGREEN NETWORK to bring the EARTHtalks to London. Join us on 28th May 2015 at Impact Hub Westminster for an evening full of inspiration!
The climate-friendly climate conference will kick off at 6:00pm BST (registration opens at5:30pm) and it will be live streaming the talks directly from Vienna. You will hear from Dr. Robert Bullard, professor, author, activist and the father of environmental justice and Sarah Wiener, TV cook and activist for “Save our Soils”. It will host a special live keynote in London with Mac Macartney, public speaker, author and founder of Embercombe. An organic buffet reception will close the EARTHtalks Connect: London 2015.
