Dear Friends of 6heads,
At London+Acumen, our final event, in collaboration with Business Fights Poverty, of 2015 is coming up next week on Tuesday 15th December from 7pm at 7 More London Riverside, SE1 2RT. It is sure to be a great one to round out the year and we would love to see you there.

Acumen typically invests in companies that have a ‘human centered design’ (HCD) approach at their core, where social entrepreneurs and community leaders use HCD to develop innovative ways to tackle poverty and inequality across the world.
The event will take the audience through the key elements of HCD and answer the question: can we use HCD to explore how we tackle issues around inequality in our own backyard?
Leading us through this conversation are two experienced HCD practitioners. Sally Spinks the Head of Organisational Design for IDEO London along with another of her colleagues will introduce the key elements of IDEO’s Human Centered Design approach and give practical examples of a recent design-a-thon where IDEO and other partners used HCD to design practical solutions for the disabled community.
Alice Holmberg, from the House of Holmberg will share how Human Centered Design has influenced her work with the Munich Local Government.
The event will be interactive and solution focused, bringing together a community of changemakers who are keen to learn more about tools for social innovation.
Please invite others from your network!
Thank you everyone!
