An Evening of Ethical Fashion – just over a week to go!
We would like to invite you to celebrate World Environment Day, June 5th, through an Evening of Ethical Fashion.
The evening is built around the principles of conscious consumption so it will include a welcome drink and the chance to socialise with friends, an informative panel discussion about fast fashion’s impact on people and the environment, a clothes swap and a complimentary onsite tailor where guests can bring an item of clothing to get repaired for free.
It will be hosted at Kindred, Hammersmith, a beautiful venue where they have recently hosted a number of TEDX events.
Panel Discussion
We are delighted that we have three sustainable fashion experts joining us to share their thoughts on ‘Conscious consumption: what is it and how do I do it?’
- Elen Newcombe-Ling, Private Sector Partnership Manager at Oxfam, who will tell us all about Oxfam’s approach to circular economy and textile recycling
- Charlie Bradley Ross, the founder of Offset Warehouse a first of its kind sustainable textile company
- Eleanor O’Leary, The Better Brand Consultant who works on purpose lead brands and will tell us all about the sustainable fashion campaigns she has been involved in recently
You can get your tickets here www.wearekindred.com/events/an-evening-of-ethical-fashion
All surplus clothes of the night will go to Oxfam and all proceeds to Cool Earth, a great climate change charity!
We hope to see you on June 5th at 7 pm at Kindred in Hammersmith, so together we can celebrate World Environment Day through an Evening of Ethical Fashion!
