Creating Community Across Borders: Global Event 4th March

6heads friend Zenoby would like to extend an invitation to YOU, to an exciting free event taking place next weekend that she is helping organize: Creating Community Across Borders. It is an experiment in ‘creating community across borders’ by bringing together refugees and non-refugees for a synchronized live event in 15 cities across 13 countries through performance-based community building.

The event is being co-created by people from diverse places and backgrounds, including refugees. It will include local group activities, as well as an international video call with all the groups in the various locations. During the transnational group call there will be several performances, including music and poetry among others, with collaboration across locations and some opportunities for improvisation – no performance training or skills required! but you will have a chance to join in 😉

The event is completely free. Since it is also a fundraiser for Play is Hope, a grassroots, performance-based organization started in response to the current refugee crisis, and the umbrella organization for this event, there also will be information on how to donate online.
